Acoustic Guitar Amp
Cheap guitar amps for electro acoustics?
I just started playing guitar a few months back so i am a beginner. i recently bought an electro acoustic guitar (fender CD 60CE) and now i am looking for an amp to go with it. I haven't got much to spend, only up to £50. As im new to all lf this i'm clueless of what amp is the best to buy etc..

Hi firstly consider why do you need an amp, if its just for practice, and the amp you've referred to is a practice map, it's not really a necessity for your acoustic guitar. That said if you'd like to play your guitar through an amp, the one you've shown if fine for practice in your bedroom, my son has one and I can't fault it. You only need a good clean reproduction of the original sound for acoustic, thats why for the most part performers using acoustic guitar put it through their PA system with the microphone on a separate channel. If your aim is to play and sing why not get an amp that can take a microphone, even if your not intending to sing along just yet. The link below is a 20W acoustic guitar amp that also takes a mike, for £56, I use a similar concept for performing. You could actually use this to gig in a small venue as well as a practice amp.
