Guitar Pros! Whats a good intermediate acoustic? links included?
So i've been playing both electric guitar and acoustic for about 3 years, im pretty good, but both my guitars aren't really like good guitars (First Act from target, fred meyer). So i've been saving up and im looking at getting a new acoustic guitar. price range from 100-180. Im looking for an intermediate guitar, and i dont want to have to buy another if/when i get better. Thanks! these guitars i found on musiciansfriend.com that had good reviews and prices. thanks!

You won't get an intermediate guitar for under $180. All of the ones you listed, although they are a massive step up from a First Act from Target, would still be classed as beginner guitars. They are all plywood guitars except the Ibanez V200S (which is also $200). Of the 4 you listed the Ibanez would be the only one I would say is worth it if you want a good intermediate guitar that you will want to keep for a while as you improve. If you're willing to spend $200 though, I would very strongly encourage you to try a Yamaha FG700S alongside the Ibanez V200S and see which you prefer in terms of playability and sound. I'm going to guess you'll like the Yamaha better. It's the best solid top beginner guitars I've played in that price range and several of my students have them. I've never cared much for the tone of the cheaper Ibanez acoustics but I honestly haven't played a V200S. You need to go to Guitar Center or a local music store and try them out. Guitar Center will stock most of the guitars you see on MusicansFriend.Com (they're part of the same company).
