Active Jazz Bass
is this a good 5 string bass guitar?
i want to know if this is a good 5 string bass guitar for the money http://www.guitarcenter.com/Squier-Deluxe-Active-Jazz-Bass-V-5-String-104383435-i1173144.gc
Squire's are hit or miss... they can be great, but I like to play them first and they always need to be set up. I have two. One is mediocre and the other is great. The mediocre one I bought online, the great one, I tested many and customized it.
I've also heard good things about Brice, but you have to have them set up, unless you know how to do it yourself. Not hard -- google it and you'll find a ton of help.
