Archtop Guitar
What is a good pickup to use to get the best sound on an acoustic archtop guitar?
I don't think I want one permanetly installed but are there good clip on pick-ups or is is better just to use an instrument mic?
I have been doing sound for 20 years including a lot of work with acoustic guitars.
My favorite pickups are by Dean Markley. You can get lots of good sound out of them and they are not prone to feedback.

All the pickups with a built in mic are almost always very prone to feedback (I hate them). If you want to hear yourself in the monitor, stick with a inductive pickup.
