Bass Combo Amp
Help me decide on a bass amp?
I'm looking for a new bass amp for practicing. I'v narrowed it down to 2. How loud the amp goes isn't necessarily what im looking for, I just some some amazing tone. The music I play ranges from anything like Avenged Sevenfold, Blink-182, Red Hot Chili Peppers, ect. So i'm looking for a dirty tone, not clean. The amps seem to have almost identical features but I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the 2? Here are the links:

The Acoustic brand amp seems a little gimicky, and has very limited control over the EQ. The Orange amp is half the wattage but has a bigger speaker to compensate, and better EQ including a "gain" control so you can get that "dirty" sound you're looking for. Bass seldom needs much gain, though, and tone has a LOT to do with your technique, i.e your finger strength, how you attack the strings, using a pick, etc. Anyway, the Orange looks like a good pick.
