It can use paper from sixteen pounds to 133 pounds and all types from bond paper to card stock, and the tray will feed all these types with no additional equipment needed. You can use standard sized and legal paper, or create your own custom size. If you want to print envelopes, you will need to purchase the separate envelope tray to do so.
You are able to print up to 150,000 pages per month, which puts this into the high yield printer group. You can also customize the toner you need from 10,000 pages per Xerox Phaser compatible toners at the standard, to the higher 15,000 pages high capacity toner. The consumables are easily found in office supply stores at an affordable price for a laser printer.
It also has extra features to make this printer easy to use. There is pop up help that will alert you to any malfunction during the printing process, and the PhaserSMART help, which will help you troubleshoot online to fix problems that arise. There are also tools to make printing easier, such as PDF direct printing as well as edge to edge printing, the latter being unique to this company.
This printer is no longer being manufactured anymore, but it can still be found, most likely in a pre-owned condition. Toners are widely available at many stores still. The company is also still supporting drivers, so they can be installed and updated as needed.
