Guidelines For Productive Patent Submitting

An invention have got to be useful in some aspect according to the second requirement. Your invention needs to be useful in some aspect or another. Even if it is only moderately useful, it will pass this requirement. It is not difficult to pass, but if you can't explain why your invention is useful and don't have enough information, you can wind up failing it. Also, your claim for why your invention is useful won't be credible if the logic is flawed or the facts are inconsistent with the logic.
The novelty requirement spurs the inventor to differentiate their invention an prove that it is new. Your invention will not pass this requirement if it is specifically the same as a previous reference. If granting your patent would cause an infringement to an existing patent, it will fail this requirement. If you get your information from a newspaper or some other printed source, you must ask yourself if your patent would infringe upon theirs if they had a patent.
In order for your invention to pass the fourth requirement, it have got to be not be evident. Your invention would be evident if someone knowledgeable about the field combined a few past references and came to your invention. Therefore, an invention cannot consist of a simple combination of prior inventions; however, if the addition of the inventions isn't viewed as already known, then it will be viewed as unobvious. This is why this requirement can be very tricky. So, in short, if an invention contains only evident differences from prior art, then it will fail this requirement.
The last requirement, the written description has to do with filling out the associated paperwork, not the idea itself. It is also required that others will be able to make, use and fully understand the invention. There are three prerequisites so that you can go about this. The enablement requirement is where the inventor lays out the common usage of their invention so others can utilize it. The "best mode" requires an inventor to identify the ideal way to conduct their invention's functions. The written description requirement doesn't have strict guidelines, and no one is specifically sure what it calls for; therefore, so that you can satisfy it, it is easiest to say you just need to identify your invention in as much depth as plausible.
