What makes Elixir Acoustic Strings so special?

I usually buy D'Addario strings and they usually cost me around 7 bucks, well I decided to try something different and bought a pack of Elixir light-medium acoustic strings, and they cost me about 15. So what makes these so different that it cost 8 bucks more? lol

I may sound like an advertiser, but Elixir Acoustic Strings are REALLY good. They are coated with nano-tech, and so lasts for a LONG time. I still have my Elixir strings after a year, and they still sound good! And the quality of sound is more decent that regular strings.
