best strings for an acoustic?

My guitar is an fender acoustic (DG20CE NAT) and i am looking for the best strings for it. i am currently on elixir phosphor bronze coated strings and i feel like this guitar could sound a heck of a lot better. I was also on martin lights and they weren't doing anything for me. i would love to have your opinion on the best acoustic strings.

i already googled it, with no luck. im looking for a bright, clear sound. nothing dark or muddy. just a bright, crisp, clean sound.

What kind of sound are you looking for out of the guitar? There are many different types of strings for many different reasons. Some strings make it a higher, twangy sound while others keep it a lower, duller sound. It all depends on what you are looking for out of your guitar. Do some research to find out which strings do what, and just try some out.
