What are the best guitar strings to buy?
I mainly use Ernie Ball Regular strings on my axe's, but I do know that Ernie Ball's tend to tarnish really easy. I know that because I've been using that brand for years. I use to use D,Addario color coated before that but I'm just wondering the best stings?

I personally use Ernie Ball 10-46 on all my guitars but if you want a string which lasts longer you might try Elixir strings. These have a "nanoweb" coating (whatever that is) which, whilst making them slightly less bright when new they do last a good deal longer.
also another tip I use is to always wipe your strings after playing. I keep a small towel in each case so I always have one handy. you will be amazed how much longer the old Ernie Ball strings last if you just wipe them down every time.
