That guitar does not appear to be a fake. I would doubt if anyone is faking such a low end guitar. The Maestro is a very low end guitar. Gibson puts those out as so-called student models. They are not very good quality wise. Even though it is not a fake, I would not recommend buying that guitar. There are better guitars available in that general price range.
