Fender Blues Jr. or Twin reverb?

I'm looking for a SRV/John Mayer tone. I'm not going to be gigging anytime soon so Wattage isn't too much of an issue.
I was thinking a Blues Jr.($600) with a Wampler Ecstasy Pedal.($200).
OR
Fender Twin Reverb by itself. ($1400)
I have a Gibson Custom shop ES-335 with classic '57 humbuckers.
Is the extra $600 worth it? Is there a Major difference in sound quality/clarity? Whick one would be better for bedroom playing and/or small gigs?

A twin sounds richer and has more adjustability. It is also really loud if you want to get a fat overdrive sound. And it's heavy. Buy the blues junior..Most players with twins barely turn them up. For big gigs if you have a good PA all you need is enough volume to fill the stage and the PA takes your tone out to the house.
Amps that are turned up a bit sound better than amps with the volume controls on 2 or 2-1/2. I quit hauling my twin around several years age. And twins are hard to use with pedals, a lot of distortion/overdrive pedals have to be fussed with sa lot to sound good out of a twin.
