Acoustic guitar... Do the guitar pins effect the sound quality of the acoustic?
There are different types of guitar pins for the acoustic guitar... I've heard that the wooden pins create a better complimentary sound. Is this true? I know every one has a different preference but, if you could shed some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
They are not going to make a very significant difference. The strings are tensioned between the nut and the saddle. It is the vibration between these two points that creates the sound.
