What end of the input jack?!? (guitars!)?
So me and my friend play instruments. I play the guitar, she the bass. i know its stupid but we argue over what side of the input jack chord goes to which! because neither of us take lessons (self taught) it doesnt really pose as a problem.
One side: it doesnt matter which end goes into the amp or the guitar.
Other side: The bent side goes into the guitar, the straight end goes into the amp
We just want to settle this once and for all. lol
Both ends are the same. Some cables have right-angle connectors (the bent ones) since they're more appropriate for certain situations. If you have a situation where a straight connector might be getting torqued too much, use the right-angle. Right-angle patch cables are also good for setting up pedal boards.
