Guitar pickup change help?
I have one of those new epiphone wilshire limited edition guitars and I'm looking to change the pickups. Prior to this, I've had a shop always change pickups for me, but I'm gonna start trying myself. If I switch out the stock for a couple of burstbuckers, do I NEED to change like the capacitor or the potentiometers or anything else? If I do tell me how to figure out how to determine what to use?

Should be a simple operation if you're handy with a soldering iron. Match the wires from the old pickup to the new ones and solder them together. You should label the wires when you remove the old pickups to make it easier.
As for the capacitors on the pots I would suspect they would be the same but you need to check the new pickups to see what they recommend. The capacitors should be stamped with their rating so you can tell if they're correct for your new pickups.
