AZDEN SGM-2X Professional Shotgun Microphone
The Azden SGM-2X shotgun mic is taking its place as one of the premier shotgun microphones around, it offers performance and features which exceed those of mics selling for hundreds of dollars more. The Azden SGM-2X shotgun microphone offers a short barrel for a wide pickup pattern and a long barrel extension for a narrower pickup pattern. This is a very flexible shotgun mic. This microphone comes with a 2 year warranty through Azden.
The SGM-2X Professional Shotgun Microphone System is designed for both the Pro-Sound and Broadcast markets.
The Shotgun Mic comes complete with a unique, integrated shock-mount with both camera shoe-mount and mic stand-mount and two foam windscreens. The microphone is powered by a single, not included, "AAA" battery (no Phantom Power), which lasts more than 250 hours.
The SGM-2X Professional Shotgun Microphone System is made for both Professional-Seem and Broadcast marketplaces. The microphone includes two barrels which makes it either an omni (8.11" lengthy) or, with the addition of the extension barrel, a supercardioid (15.75" lengthy). Either configuration supplies a sensitive, low-noise, wide bandwidth signal through its balanced, low-impedanced XLR output.
