Quilted Shower Curtains Information

Before engaging yourself in this project you need to be well equipped with some information and tips that may seem trivial but will prove useful along the way.This is why I invite you to read right to the very end and you will be realise how useful this post is.

The reason why you may have chosen to go with the self-making options might be out of your frustration to find exactly what you are looking for. For example you may be thinking of brown and purple shower curtain or hookless shower curtain {blended|accentuated|beautifully combined} with an array of colors but only to find that your local bathroom store doesn’t carry them. This is where DIY comes to play.

Here are the recommendations promised earlier.

In order to make it lighter do not put any batting in it.

Quilts can make the curtain porous so you need to me tactful with your stitching.

You can also make only a quilt top and a plastic curtain for a lining. Saw the quilt top to the lining and have the rivets made.

As highlighted earlier sawing the quilt on to the lining can cause it to leak, this why I recommend sewing at the top. Unless you have other methods to minimise the leakage.

You can then hide the seams by putting a backing on it especially if you decide to go with the quilted top.

Consider making the button holes to be on top of the hooks so you won’t have to stitch the quilt on the liner. This is good especially when cleaning trying to clean the curtain i.e. you can simply wash the liner separately.
