Red Electric Bass
What's a better bass guitar (Suggestions also)?
I have been looking up bass guitars to buy, so I can start learning to play them as a pass time. However as someone with very little knowledge of them I do not know what to buy. I have found two within my budget (£130) that also comewith a stand, case, lead, and an amplifier; I just don't know if they're actually good guitars.

I wouldn't go with either of those; you'll be buying a new one in months. I'd pick a Squier, a Dean, or an Austin. You can find those for around the same price as the two you've posted.
If you REALLY needed to pick between the two, get the Encore bass. The other one doesn't even have a brand name. Seems like it'd be a real piece of crap to me.
