Is this normal for tube amps?
I recently bought a custom vibrolux reverb amplifier and I noticed that when I play some notes through the amp on the more than one guitar, I get this persistent chime vibration coming from behind the amp, so the guitar isn't the issue. It sounded like a bell on Santa's sleigh, as that's what it reminds me of. Also, maybe this was stupid, but when I picked up the amp to move it away from everything else in the room (for better ventilation), I got this abrupt sound like a china symbol when it is smashed. Can someone with a lot of tube maintenance experience give me a heads up on this because I will be returning the amp and just continue to do more research?

Any amp with a spring reverb unit, even solid state does this. It is normal and comes from the springs contacting the sides of the reverb box. Either don't move the amp when on or turn the reverb down to zero when you move it.
Leave the tube covers on so the tubes are protected and stay put.
