Right Angle Cable
Whats the purpose of having a right-angled jack plug on the end of a guitar cable?
I have a new effects pedal and need a new cable for it. I already have a right-angled cable but not sure if I should buy another one, or get a straight one? Also are Lindy cables any good?
It's primarily so you can't either accidentally step on the cable and yank it out, or accidentally knock it out on stage.
If you're using an effects pedal then a straight cable would be better, as then you're not putting any tension on the joint of the cable which using an angled cable would do.
Just wrap the cable around your endpin and if you can, tape the cable to the floor so no-one trips over it.
