Sit Power Wound
C guitar Tuning ..................?
I tuned down 2 full steps from standard tuning.I'm using .10-0.46 and it sounds well...bad.I have a set of SIT power wound heavy bottom.Will these sound any better.And can i even keep this thing in tune cuz i think my tuner cant tune very well that low.I fell like a play a chord and then the whole thing is out of tune.
You need to play at least 12's preferably 13's to play down that low. Problem is you nut and your bridge are slotted for approx. 10 gauge strings. You most likely will raise the action of the strings since they won't sit in the slots correctly. Instead of this get your self a Baritone Guitar. Much better choice than trying to downtune. DONE!
