Gibson Epiphone SG-Special Electric or Fender Squier Standard Stratocaster?
Deciding between these two eletric guitars, and cant decide which one i want. im a beginner, and really havent played that much at all. I have only played accoustic, learning basic chords, and still cant even change chords smoothly. So which one of these guitars do you think is better.
note: i have considered other guitars, including accoustic, but i have narrowed my descision to these two.
Really depends on personal preference, because they sound so different. Ask yourself who your favorite guitar players are, and if they favor the sharp, kind of coiley sound of the Strat, or the warmer, chunkier sound of the Gibson? Whose sound do you most want to emulate? Because I can say from experience that it's pretty much impossible to make one sound like the other, even through thick layers of effects.
