Pleasantly Pleased By Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar With The Top Price.
I'm a new comers to learning guitar. I own a Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar and then a amp and though I tried many times to discover ways to use it, there appears to be other things taking my attention from learning how to participate in. Enter the Rockband 3's Fender Mustang Professional Guitar and suddenly finding out becomes extremely intuitive. Edge note: The tutorials from the game are not preachy and do not feel like you are in a dry music training. They are high superior quality and abundant!
I've owned this Rock Band 3 Guitar for just two months now, have played it approximately everyday and I'm glad to imply the buttons are definitely not getting stuck or used like Guitar Hero guitars (I'm looking at you Guitar Hero World Tour that we had to return 4 times and in the end giving up).
Pros
----
1. Quality is a plus: Strings offer good tension and do not lose tension with point in time. Buttons depress easily and gives no more resistance as compared with actually pressing down using a string. In fact I discover barre chords easier about this guitar than on a total guitar.
2. Neck disassembles for the purpose of easy storage
3. Handheld
4. You can strum the strings aggressively but it doesn't damage the nylon string guitar.
5. Rockband 3 accumulates the signal surprisingly well and with no apparent lag.
Frauds
----
1. Rockband 3 doesn't recognize bent notes for that reason far I haven't discovered how to do a slide at a sustained note that Rockband could very well understand. Perhaps it's doable, but I can't confirm it.
For what it truly is: a learning tool: this peripheral works exactly as advertised.
Shortcomings versus a true guitar:

1. Having buttons, sliding along the fret board to perform a C5 followed by an F5 back to a C5 power chord oftentimes leads me to slide to a new "string". Thankfully this often is the biggest issue, which just isn't so bad an issue. Probably my being a noob is answerable to 85% of this dilemma which maybe will improve with time. But I do go better on my realistic Strat.
2. Each string is exactly the same size and feel thus find myself plucking the wrong string a bit more easily than on a genuine guitar: once again I normally blame my inexperience for this.
3. The strings don't make sound besides a plucking sound so you have to trust that what you could be playing produces the genuine song sound played by way of Rockband.
4. This guitar is slightly smaller than just a real guitar but it won't bother me. I switch from Mustang so that you can real guitar and back without feeling like there's a discrepancy.
5. Sometimes I find myself that Rockband accepts little mistakes like strumming a string I ought not to be strumming, but usually the experience is right on the funds.
I am simply aiming how it differes coming from a real guitar and marriage ceremony meant to detract from this excellent product. My goal is to guide you decide if you really want this Fender Mustang or opt for the Fender Squier "real" acoustic electric guitar.
I really think this Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar can be described as labor of love and worth it.
I give this a new 9/10, where 10/10 is a real guitar. I had a very experienced guitarist over and even he mastered this device in seconds and learned an innovative song with disturbing lessen. He liked the guitar a great deal and was very satisfied.
