How do you prevent hissing noises when playing bass guitar?
I have a Peavey Grind BXP 4 string (active) bass guitar. Every time i turn the tone up i hear obnoxious hissing noises. I have an Ibanez Sound wave 65 amp. The gain is on max, but everything else is only turned half way up. Do I need some sort of shield or something on my bass guitar to prevent these noises?
check the earth on ur guitar, does it still hiss if you hold the lead at its connection?
