how to remove a tone control knob on guitar?
Its a dean vendetta 1000 Thank! I am trying to put a new pickup in.
Hello there,
Two main types of knobs used on electric guitars, push on and set screw. Not certain which you have on your guitar. Look at the sides of the knob. If there is a set screw loosen it and pull the knob up. If there is no set screw, you just pull it up to remove. If you have trouble, you can use the blade of a table knife to up some upward pressure and that the knob up.
