Cheap Guitar Capo from ebay - good?

Hi,

There are some really cheap guitar capos on ebay. I'm a beginner and want to get a capo to play around with. I was wondering if these types are good or not because they are not expensive and seem to do the job. Does anybody have any review/ opinions?

Alright, so I probably won't waste any money on that then. What do you think about the planet waves ns capo?

If it does the job, it does the job. Biggest problem you may run into with a cheap capo is that it can buzz if it's loose, or screw up your intonation slightly by putting uneven pressure on the strings, or fall off at a bad time if it's an evil capo out to get you.

If it doesn't do any of those 3 things, go with it.

(I refuse to say whether a given capo works on a given guitar, because stuff like the shape of the neck of the guitar end up affecting the answer, so it really is a "you gotta try it and see" type of thing).
