Can i change the tuning pegs on an electric fiddle?
I have an electric fiddle and currently the tuning pegs are plastic. right now i have to pull the pegs out and then tune it that way. i either break a string or by the time i get it pushed back in its out of tune again. i used to play fiddle and never had a problem with the wooden pegs. its just electric fiddles that have this problem or is it the plastic pegs? thanks
Yes. Get the wooden or ebony pegs. They don't slip and secondly, easier to tune. Plastic slips too easily and get out of tune.
